100th birthday of Leonard Bernstein

This year is the 100th birthday of Leonard Bernstein, the Legendary conductor, educator, composer, musician of the last century.

One of the most important things he has done as a conductor was popularised Mahler's music by letting the public about the beauty in Mahler's Symphonies. He is certainly having the deepest understanding of Mahler's music and his life, that's why his interpretation of Mahler's Symphonies are so touching for all the time.



On the other hand, he is also a great composer, who is able to compose both energetic and lyrical music in West Side Story.

Nevertheless, thank you, Mr Bernstein, for bringing us so much beautiful music!!
